The Festo Configuration Tool (or briefly FCT) is the software platform for configuring and commissioning various components from Festo.
The FCT consists of the following components:
A framework as program start and entry point with uniform project and data management for all supported types of components.
A PlugIn for the special requirements of a component type with the necessary descriptions and dialogs. The PlugIns are managed and started by the framework.
The CMAX plug-in is integrated in the Festo Configuration Tool (FCT) and enables the configuration, commissioning, diagnosis and optimisation of the axis controller CMAX.
The axis controller CMAX is integrated in a CPX terminal as a technology module and serves as an open-loop and closed-loop position controller for servopneumatic axes.
The CMAX plug-in generally enables the input of values within the absolute limits prescribed by the CMAX.
